Fitness Twist owner Kris Brown holds certifications in personal training, yoga (EYRT-200),Pilates, aquatic, and kinesiology and has been active in the fitness industry for over 20 years.

Kris draws on her college experience in Anatomy & physiology, as well as recovering from lower back and knee injuries. She has studied yoga for over 18 years and uses her practice as a therapeutic science and catalyst for her own personal transformation. Along her journey of self awareness, Kris created Fitness Twist LLC to teach and educate others on the calming, restorative and physical aspects of movement & mindfulness.

Recently relocating from Sanibel, FL, Kris has been a guest speaker at Health Seminars, hosted community yoga workshops and has written articles for magazine and newspaper publications. Teaching around the country, Kris has been featured as a guest speaker at Health Seminars. She recently introduced her Live Online Personal Training Program for one-on-one workouts in the comfort of your home, office or hotel via FaceTime, Skype or Zoom.”

Her hope is to help each individual find their inner strength, flexibility and stability to both body & mind. The same way that it has helped her.

Kris is passionate and committed to on-going education, training and her own deep personal practice. She has studied with respected teachers such as Dharma Mittra, Jason Crandell, Gary Kraftsow, Sadie Nardini, Leslee Bender, Keli Roberts, Helen Vandenburg and Lilias Folan.

Because of her unique and eclectic background, Kris uses fitness as a vital, powerful and compassionate component in healing the body and the psyche, and not just for physical results alone.  Her hope and goal is to “shape” the future of health and wellness in communities everywhere, helping each individual find inner strength and achieve an improved sense of well-being.
